Things Worth Buying
a curated edit of clothes, beauty, home, and everything in between.
The Clutch Edit
From raffia vacation pouches to evening clutches, here are my favorite clutches by Saint Laurent, Prada, Louis Vuitton and more, for every occasion.
I’ve always been a clutch girl. I love how minimal they are. No digging through a giant tote, no carrying around things you don’t need. I love the challenge of seeing how much I can fit into a small bag. It’s easier than you’d think if you stick to the essentials: phone, cards, keys and lipstick. Boom!
In today’s post I round up my favorites, from chic raffia styles to a beautiful evening piece that completes a look. A few of these are investment buys, but they’re the timeless kind. You’ll keep them forever and reach for them constantly.
My Top Picks
Saint Laurent Uptown Pouch, $800. It comes in so many colors and materials, and the material changes everything. Raffia reads breezy and vacation-ready. Black patent is pure sexy evening. Same bag, totally different mood.
Prada Saffiano Envelope Clutch, $800. Clean and structured, and Saffiano leather holds up to everything. It also comes in a range of colors, so you can go classic or have a little fun. This is the one you’ll carry for years.
The Rest of the Edit
Toteme Travel Raffia Clutch, $620. Woven raffia with contrast leather trim and a detachable wrist strap. Toss it in your suitcase, then carry it to dinner by the water. It’s exclusive to Net-a-Porter, so grab it there.
Toteme T-Lock Clutch, $990. Grained leather with a strap for when you want your hands free. Polished enough for the office, easy enough for the weekend.
Louis Vuitton Poche Toilette GM, $760. Officially, it’s a toiletry pouch. Unofficially, it’s one of the chicest clutches out there. Classic Monogram canvas with natural leather trim and a zip top that keeps everything secure.
Amanu Zambia Pochette, $645. A sleek black pochette with a brass ring. Beautiful and understated in the best way.
Cult Gaia Eos Clutch, $400. Beaded, marbled acrylic and a total conversation piece.
Loeffler Randall Rayne Clutch, $250. I love the pleated metallic lamé with a bow and a chain strap. Available in five colors. Perfect for weddings and holiday parties.
Whatever the occasion, I hope you’ll find a clutch here that will be a perfect fit for you. Less is more; so remember to buy better, buy less, wear more and travel light! xx
