Summer Stripes Worth Buying
Stripes are one of the few wardrobe staples that never lose their appeal. From classic Breton tees and oversized button-downs to cozy knits and beach-ready caftans, discover the striped pieces I'm reaching for all summer long.
There are certain wardrobe staples that never lose their appeal, and for me, stripes are one.
While I reach for them year-round, I tend to wear stripes the most during the summer months. A Breton top paired with denim is a classic look that works every time. An oversized striped button-down doubles as a beach cover-up by day and a dinner-ready look by night. A striped caftan can feel both relaxed and refined, making it the perfect vacation companion.
My go-to brands include J.Crew, La Ligne, LemLem, Madewell, Kule and Matteau. I’ve also included Miu Miu in the round-up as I am loving their pinstripe shirt this season. From an accessories standpoint, Soludos does a great espadrille for men and women and I love Gucci’s classic green and red Web stripe collection.
